Interlochen Center for the Arts is looking to hire TWO Motion Picture Arts Staff Assistants of Animation for the 2019 camp season. We have two MPA Staff Assistant positions for our two Animation programs. One MPA Assistant - Animation will work with our High School program for the dates 6/19/19-7/13/19. The other MPA Assistant - Animation will work with our Intermediate camp program for two, three weeks sessions. The dates for this position are 6/19/19-8/3/19. Housing is provided for the dates contracted (early arrival/late stay requests, if space is available, will be paid in full by the employee). All meals are included with your agreement- breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- The Motion Picture Arts Animation Assistant will work assisting faculty in a variety of animation courses, managing labs/studios, and assisting with various other aspects of the program.
- Duties include lab/exercise preparation, inventory of supplies, assist with studio instruction,
- Assisting with weekly presentations and lab/classroom clean up.
- Assistants also help to monitor open studios during off hours.
- MPA Animation Assistant will also help with the department's public and community programs as appropriate including demonstrations, evening presentations, extracurricular activities and Collage.

- Must be 18 years of age,
- Experience in animation and visual storytelling;
- Degree in animation/video preferred.
- Must know how to use Digital video/still cameras, variety of animation software such as Final Cut Pro, Flash, Adobe AfterEffects, and Toonboom.
