Interlochen Center for the Arts is looking to hire Transportation Drivers for the 2019 camp season. The dates of the contract are 6/10/19-8/11/19 and the stipend for the entire duration of the contract ranges from $12 - $12.50 per hour. One meal is provided during your shift. Meals are available through our various cafeterias on campus. If you have a CDL and will be performing safety-sensitive functions such as driving a commercial motor vehicle that requires a CDL, you will be subject to the drug and alcohol testing requirements.
Major Responsibilities: Drivers fulfill campus transportation needs, 24/7. Drivers are responsible for providing safe transportation to students, parents, faculty, staff and visitors on campus as well as around the local area. Transporting students to and from appointments in the local area, as well as support of other departments on campus. Drivers may also be required to assist Campus Safety Officers and/or any other duties as need for the Department of Campus Safety and Transportation. Transportation drivers are, many times the first contact students, parents, visitors and guests have with Interlochen.
Qualifications: Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance maintain positive public relations skills at all times drivers must possess the ability to accept responsibility and work without supervision criminal and motor vehicle background checks are required and drivers must possess a valid driver's license qualified applicants having a current First Aid, CPR and AED certification will be given first consideration.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Application Process:If interested in applying please submit an application by clicking the "Apply Now" button at the bottom of the page.
